About SWOON
I’m Monica, the designer and maker behind Swoon Pottery. A Los Angeles native, I now live in beautiful Middle Tennessee with my husband, dogs, cats and chickens. Swoon was born in 2019 after discovering that pottery was my passion - accidental joy! Creating pottery is such a meditative yet challenging process. Turning a mound of clay into something beautiful and useful is deeply rewarding. I create and glaze each piece myself so they have their own individual personality. Our pieces are organic and understated - a testament to the beauty and simplicity of handcrafting.
In a world of mass production, we value the uniqueness of handmade items and hope that you do as well. We have a great attention to detail and will share only the highest-quality craft.
The website shop will open a few times a year once I have completed a collection of work. These shop updates tend to sell out quickly - I am so grateful! You can sign up to receive an email with a link for early access to shop openings. In person event dates will be added to the website as they are confirmed.
